The Adolescent Acute Treatment Program at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is an intensive care unit designed to stabilize an immediate crisis, while providing the adolescent with skills to alleviate the risk of future incidents. This family-focused, therapeutic learning environment is structured to meet the psychological, social, family education and physical needs of young people. The overall treatment goal is to assist the individual to achieve optimal mental health, allowing the patient to return to life’s normal activities.
